Ireland’s last FEI Nations Cup outing before the Barcelona Final in September kicks off on Friday afternoon at Rotterdam, and manager Michael Blake has named his team as:

Shane Sweetnam – Karlin Van’t Vennehof

Bertram Allen – Pacino Amiro

Michael G Duffy – Lapuccino 2

Eoin McMahon – Chacon 2

Ireland has already qualified for the Nations Cup team final, but fans will be delighted to see both Shane Sweetnam and Bertram Allen competing with their Olympic-selected horses at Rotterdam today.

Ireland is drawn fourth to jump of ten teams competing in the Netherlands, and Blake will be hoping for a continuing improvement on the last two outings where Ireland finished fifth (La Baule) and third (Sopot).
