Richie Moloney netted first place with Slieveanorra in today’s CSI4* Suncast 1m50 Classic at Tryon International Equestrian Centre, North Carolina.

The Irish rider was one of only two to post a first round clear in the $35,000 1m50 event, and went into the jump-off against Chilean Samuel Parot on Couscous Van Orti.

Moloney managed a second clear, with Parot having four faults for second place. Third went to American Alison Robitaille who was fastest of the first round four-faulters.

Moloney had taken 6th place last night in the Hollow Creek Farm CSI4* Grand Prix with Carrabis Z, which was won by USA’s Margie Engle and Royce.
