A senior Irish show jumping team will return to 2020 FEI Nations Cup action at the three-star show at Prague in the Czech Republic today (Friday).

Chef d’Equipe Michael Blake has selected his team of four and they will line out as:

Mark McAuley – Jasco VD Bisschop
Bertram Allen – Gun Powder
Michael Duffy – Jeff Ten Halven
Anthony Condon – SFS Aristio

Ireland has been selected to jump as eighth of 13 teams taking part at the Chuchle arena.

Covid-19 restrictions led to a long gap in Nations Cup competition this year, with Ireland last appearing as runners-up in the US contest  at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Florida in February.

Though show jumping was given the green light in June to take place behind closed doors, Prague will see the first top level team competition since restrictions were modified.

Results will be available on the Prague website from 1:45pm Irish time, and also on We Live Horse’s Facebook page.

Livestream will be available at this link.
