Ireland’s Darragh Kenny has climbed the Longines FEI rankings once again and is now the ninth highest-ranked rider in the world.

The latest move represents a rise of two places for Kenny who has enjoyed a highly successful 2019 to date, particularly on the Global Champions Tour.

As the rankings are up to September 30th, they do not include performances at this week’s Nations Cup Final in Barcelona where the Offaly rider has already clocked up valuable points for next month’s rankings after his clear round with Balou du Reventon for the Irish team in Thursday’s opening round.

Shane Sweetnam climbs three places to move back into the top thirty at number 29, while Bertram Allen remains steady in 33rd position.

At the top of the standings there is no change from last month with Switzerland’s Steve Guerdat holding first place from fellow countryman Martin Fuchs in second and Germany’s Daniel Deusser in third.
