Greg Broderick and Zuidam claimed this afternoon’s Clayton Hotel Speed Derby at Dublin Horse Show to secure their second victory of the week. The pairing toppled Billy Twomey and Ardcolum Duke off top spot, with early leader Shane Breen on Can Ya Makan taking third.
Irish riders took the first six places in all in the event. Dermott Lennon and Vampire came fourth with Cian O”Connor (Copain du Perchet) fifth and Cameron Hamley (Aiyetoro) sixth.
Irish riders have claimed all three international classes so far at the show, after Shane Breen’s victory with Ipswich van de Wolfsakker in yesterday’s Sport Ireland Classic and Broderick’s win the in the opening day’s Speed Stakes.
