Shane Breen and Laith won this evening’s Rabobank 1m50 jump-off class at the 4* meeting in Geesteren, Netherlands.
In a 16-way jump-off Breen was fifth to jump and took over the lead from home rider Gerco Schröder on Glock’s Lausejunge, and only Italy’s Alberto Zorzi on Living The Dream came close to toppling the Irish rider at the finish.
Schröder held on to third place, while the Tipperary-born rider collected 5610 euro for his victory.
Laith is a ten year-old bay stallion previously campaigned with success by Irish riders Michael Pender and Marion Hughes.
