Chef d’Equipe Cameron Hanley has named his riders for the Irish team that will contest the first FEI Nations’ Cup of 2017.
At Thursday’s five-star fixture in Al Ain, in the United Arab Emirates, Ireland has been drawn sixth of ten teams to jump, and will line out as follows:
Michael Duffy with Belcanto Z 
David Simpson with Chessy 17
Paul Kennedy with Cartown Danger Mouse
Anthony Condon with Balzac
The other teams taking part are Germany, France, Britain, Italy, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland and the host country UAE.
As Al Ain is not part of the European Division 1 Nations Cup series, Ireland will not be competing for league points at this venue.
