John Whitaker and Emily Moffitt are the two Valkenswaard squad members who will represent the Global Champions League leaders in their home leg of the competition this afternoon.

In what is the fourth-last round of the series, Valkenswaard will be aiming to maintain their strong challenge for the inaugural title. Squad member Bertram Allen has competed in individual classes at the Dutch venue this week, but is not involved in today’s team event.

Whitaker will ride Argento while Moffitt partners Hilfiger van de Olmenhoeve.

Their nearest challengers in the league are Antwerp Diamonds who will be represented today by Audrey Coulter riding Alex and Jos Verlooy with Caracas.

Monaco Aces, who are third in the standings, have called on Maikel van der Vleuten (VDL Groep Arera C) and Leopold van Asten (VDL Groep Beauty) for their challenge.

Valkenswaard have been drawn seventh of the twelve teams in today’s running order. Antwerp Diamonds will be last to go. Mike Dunne
