Tracy Piggott will host live TV coverage on RTE of this afternoon’s Nations Cup competition for the Aga Khan trophy at Dublin Horse Show. The sports presenter and daughter of legendary racing jockey Lester is no stranger to the occasion, and will once again present the show with commentary from Robert Hall and Tom Freyne.

In an interview in this week’s issue of the RTE Guide, Piggott talks about the fantastic atmosphere at the show. “The crowds are incredible – they really get behind it. The stands are jam packed and they’re screaming and shouting as soon as an Irish rider comes in. It is impossible not to get caught up in it.”

RTE’s coverage begins at 1.30pm on RTE1, with the Nations Cup competition starting at 3.00pm.
